OUR APPROACH

Our Sustainable Food Media Production Framework™ was designed to minimize the environmental impact of our productions and prioritize the benefit of the communities across our value chain. This framework helps us approach critical areas such as our sets, equipment, transportation, workforce development, and partnerships, with comprehensive policies aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of our productions and establishing systems that work in favor of the people involved.

We center people and the environment, offering food business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations in the food space an alternative to stay at the forefront of the digital world with high-quality content, and helping them to make a positive impact at the same time.

PEOPLE FIRST

With our revolutionary approach to workforce development, we train people from a diversity of underrepresented communities to access roles in fod media, and make sure that our productions offer a safe space for all. 

GREEN SETS

Our sets are carefully planned to be environmentally sustainable, from solar-powered charging stations to the sourcing of the materials, plant based catering, a ban on single use plastic, and anti food waste policies.

EQUIPMENT

Our equipment policy guidelines for the acquisition of energy-efficient equipment, its lifetime in production instances, and further utilization as tools in the training of our workforce. We prioritize open-box alternatives.

TRANSPORTATION

Besides prioritizing public transit, train rides, and ride sharing, we offer a shuttle to our crew with stops at convenient transit hubs for longer distance productions. Plane flights are discouraged, but when a production requires them, we resort to carbon offsets.

PARTNERSHIPS

As part of our commitment to a community-centric, and more sustainable logistics network, we partner with local organizations and people in the local communities, procure from local businesses, and hire local talent as often as possible.

LEGACY ACTIONS

In addition to our commitment to leaving the physical spaces that we use in better conditions when we finish our work, we also design strategies with local organizations and individuals to support programs that are relevant to the communities where we go.
